The feeling of feeling blank

There will be days you’d feel blank,

Almost useless, sitting in the corner like a plank.

But think of it for a moment,

No worry is eating you like a rodent.

Your health is fine and so, are your loved ones,

You have not lost family to wars and guns.

You might feel, life is not going great,

But aren’t you thankful, life is going straight.

Life may seem, same old-same old,

But as elders would say, that statement is more precious than gold.

Count your blessings and thank your fate,

Give in your best shot and make life your dream date.
