New World Order/ Disorder

COLLECTOR'S CHOICE: In the photo, Obama seems extremely pleased to be photographed surrounded by socialists, communists and terrorists... so much so, he gave the "thumbs up". Communist Obama and Communist Russian President, Dmitri Medvedev, celebrate after agreeing on how to transform the world into a one big socialist planet via G20 financial reforms. Hugging them both is Socialist Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, who has an extensive record of criminal allegations, including mafia collusion, false accounting, tax fraud, corruption and bribery of police officers and judges. Summit host and socialist UK Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, said the deal heralded a “New World Order”.
Also shown: Communist China's President, Hu Jintao; Socialists International member and South Africa's President, Kgalema Motlanthe; Prince Saud Al Faisal of Saudi Arabia (country source of fifteen 9/11 terrorists); Ethipoian socialist, terrorist and NEPAD head, Meles Zenawi; Turkey's domineering, anti-secularist and Islamic Extremist Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan; and Thailand's Prime Minister and Democrat, Abhisit Vejjajiva, who ascended to power during the 2009 global economic crisis.

I have technically had an overdose of the term – ‘The New World Order’ in my course of this 2 yr degree in Pune but what I deeply seek to understand is the meaning of this term in its truest sense. And for this I extend my views, only to be rounded up by yours in order to get as well as give several others like me, a holistic meaning of New World Order, understood in collaboration with views from across the globe..
There has been this ongoing tussle between the so called ‘superpowers of the world’ against the deadly menace of Terrorism. And this has brought to the fore the issue of ‘good versus bad’ and ‘civilized versus uncivilized’.
The USA, the current superpower has been constantly pressing hard on so called ‘terrorist nations’, destroying the ‘terror networks’, ‘improving' the plights of their countrymen etc. all for the larger good of the world! This reasoning is music to the ears, but after having read about the order of event and an attempt to put them in logical order, something inside me gives a strong feeling of this being just the surface level and to be understood in favour of or rather defence of the U.S.
As I have often concluded from discussions with the journalists and professors from this field, a deeper reasoning somewhere hints at something that could not be in the favour of a world comprising of separate nation states and can ultimately point to the formation of a “New World Order”. The concept of new world order can be termed as the long term goal that can be seen by a superpower to conquer the entire globe under a single government which could ultimately suppress or create an imbalance for cultures and ideologies, in short Authoritative!
And even when talked of in the bookish terminology, the ‘New World Order’ corresponds to “A secretive power elite with a globalist agenda is conspiring to eventually rule the world through an authoritarian world government, which replaces sovereign nation-states, and an all-embracing ideology”.
The intentions or long term strategies can be to conquer the world ostensibly to remove the terror from this planet! And we all know from where the so called ‘worst terror groups’ got their initial training and grounding from.
The most ironical part is that the whole strategy of cleansing the planet of these terror born groups is fraught with wrong reasoning. For instance the U.S. as we all know has covered the entire landmass of the “Mineral Rich Afghanistan” and “Oil Rich Iraq”, [naming just the recent past] the reasons apart from self interest, not exactly known to have convinced the finest scholars in the world.
The New World Order, which could see its seeds sown recently in the aftermath of 9/11 will surely take its time to cover the entire world but the repercussions, if not looked into with top most priority, could well prove disastrous for the sovereignty and integrity of several other nations. Flooding the landscapes with soldiers, killing of innocents in numbers beyond count and taking the country back to the days of history where it was torn by illiteracy and poverty is not the best future to be gifted to anyone.
Its time the international community understands that ‘unlimited quest for power’ in the hands of a few can turn havoc for the remaining part of the globe and is in no way the solution forget being the best solution for the rest of us!

  1. Each n every country wants to be in the so called "New World Order" but i wonder if this lust for power and world dominance is rooted in weakness or power !!

  2. i think its time, dat we, the people who make a country, start looking at the picture closely... whenever something happens, like d so many incidents mentioned by you, we read abt dem, comment abt dem, but never bother to dig deep n find out d true picture... we jus don't care...

  3. How long will the power struggle last and how many innocents will be destroyed in the process? The US always makes 'useful' friends and then turns against those very same friends when the need arises.

  4. Yes its a plain simple power struggle, as we all realise but then it is the intensity n anger tht we feel for it that varies..And i do not point at the US alone.... i think every nation is following the US foot steps now!
Thanks for your views dare 2 live, shipra and reine de mots..
We are just specks of dust in this world.. that alone may not be able to make any big difference but even the smallest speck of dust in the eye of a marching soldier can hault him for a moment..And a moment is all it takes!
If a day and situation comes which get the many such specks of dust in this world to come and stand together then we'll become a storm.. a strom strong enough to haulth anyone and anything... but when will we become that storm is the question...

  5. Nice Thought...though I agree with Reine de mots and i think now its time that the Developing countries or "Third world countries"(As they are often referred) should take a stand against this. May be as of now it wont make much change but in the course of time the situation will surely improve..

  6. A thought worth to ponder over!
The future of these events could turn into 'economic imperialism', wherein the countries like Iraq, Afghanistan will bow down to US and a new world order will shape up!
